I was walking around the city yesterday.
After I finished my coffee session with Crys and sent her off on the bus.
I learnt 2 new things...
The first lesson?
I learnt that having a fringe is sort of bad in windy weather.
My hair keeps getting blown all over the place.
You'd reckon it's cool, like in the movies...
But, sometimes I get hair in my eyes. Ouch!
And that hurts... bad.
The second lesson?
This lesson is a little more interesting.
It's the exact opposite of having a Daniel Powter - Bad Day.
It was in windy weather...
I had my palms open to the wind and I was feeling the breeze blow past me.
It tickled my fingertips as it wound its way around me.
And, like a little child, I felt wonder and amazement.
There, I experienced a profound sense of detachment.
I stopped for breath and marvelled at this.
