I am a little pissed off today that my new baby got broken into.
Woke up early today to pick Darren up from the airport. The guy came down to visit his sister; it is her graduation this week. I didn't even notice that the car was broken into until I was driving and cleared my security gates.
My baby was left in the undercover carpark at my apartment complex. The damn fkn thieves must have gotten entry into my complex, and made their way into the carpark. These assholes are professionals. They did not smash the windows or left any marks on the car. They just jacked the lock, utterly destroyed the lock barrels and opened the door.
But I am grateful that they did not grab anything of value. I have donated the damn $10 of loose change to you idiots. Now come back and pay for the cost to get my car repaired.
Lesson learnt...
If a robbery does happen, don't freak out.
If you do happen to come back to a smashed in car, don't be too alarmed. Yes, call the police and your parents, but beyond that there is very little you can do once the theft has already occurred.
Then, tell yourself, "I know that this is something I can get fixed, and no one died, but it is just an inconvenience."
