my PC comes home...

I finally got Asmodean back and running from the shops.
I had minor trouble with the HDDs over the past few weeks.
I think the failure had to do with my power supply box and my constant downloading of stuff from torrents.

I had sent my failed HDDs to Australian Data Protection.
These people were recommended to me by my very good friend... Ms. Crystal Chan.

The data recovery guys were really very prompt in recovering and backing up my data.
I had a corrupt Master File Allocation Table... or something.
A real problem when you use NTFS and it actually corrupts your windows installation.
I couldn't even use the repair or scandisk to fix it.

Give this great guys a call if you ever crash your HDD.
Heaven forbid that from happening though...

So much has happenned in these past month

my PC died everyone...
well, the HDD (hard disk drive for the illiterati) failed on me
So I lost most of my songs and my homework
Cost me friggin AUS$165.00 to fix the thing

What has happened to me?
This is a summary of my past month...
Been working a lot at Subway doing the Sandwich Consultancy.
I think I'm almost up to a Senior Associate Consultant in the sandwich industry...
My employer should appreciate me more... in $$$
But doesn't... *sigh*

My supervisor, Sara, who trained me has decided to leave
It's unfortunate 'cause of personality clashes within the upper ranks
The internal politics are very confusing
It's really funny to note that even in small businesses like F&B there is instances of politicking.
I'm really sad about the whole thing...

Stephen has left Melb for Malaysia.
He has finished his studies and will begin his career.
I hope he gets all that he wishes for.

I'll have to get Cindy to lend me the book after she is done with it.

Well, it's new to me 'cause I've yet to read it

Robin Hobb has a new book out too... Shaman's Crossing
I just finished her Assassins Quest books
A really engaging story...
Though I think that the Liveship books are better
I really recommend that you pick up her books Kwang.

What else?
I've watched a few movies here and there.
Most notably the Mr and Mrs Smith
With a great looking cast of Bradd Pitt and Angelina Jolie
It was a surprisingly amusing look at the monotony of married life

I'm also currently playing Star Ocean 3: Till the End of Time now
The battle system is great
I like the interesting way they incorporated a arcade style battle system with rpg elements
This is all though I noticed the story is a little weak

This and I'm studying
Gotta go do my Java assignment people...
